Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has praised Paul Pogba amid a potential return despite admitting the injury will keep his player out for the AZ Alkmaar match too.
The world-class Frenchman has been missing for quite some time but the legendary Norwegian has seen the likes of Scott McTominay and Fred stand up in his absence.
United are still lacking creativity at times, particularly against deeper opposition and so the need for Pogba to return is evident.
There were hopes the academy product could get some minutes under his belt ahead of the Europa League clash but Solskjaer has ruled that out.
There have been rumours Pogba’s injury is just an excuse for him not to feature as he is said to be refusing not to play in order to force through a move this winter.
Ole: “Let's get Paul fit first and back in form. Paul will plays loads of games. For me he is one of the best players in world. I am looking forward to having him back." #mufc [BBC]

However, Solskjaer wouldn’t do anything as stupid as consistently praising Pogba if a sale was going to happen.
To be fair to the former Juventus man, he initially had an ankle injury that was aggravated by him playing through the pain barrier so this time around the club are determined to ensure he is fully fit in order to avoid him being missing for so long again.
