Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Paul Pogba is still not ready to return from injury but did note that Nemanja Matic was ready for action ahead of Manchester United’s meeting with AZ Alkmaar.
The Frenchman, who has been reduced to just six appearances this season due to a foot injury, is expected to make a return before 2020.
Matic, on the other hand, has been sidelined since prior to the October international break with a groin problem.
Speaking at a press conference, Solskjaer added that Diogo Dalot, also impeded by a groin issue, was edging closer to full fitness.

Marcos Rojo, the delightfully mad bastard, could return to action next week, while Phil Jones – not seen since that horror show at Sheffield United – is also ready to come back to the pitch.
Eric Bailly and Timothy Fosu-Mensah, two long-term absentees with knee problems, are set to start training with the next group from next week onwards, giving Solskjaer a major boost in the defensive area. Fosu-Mensah, although somewhat forgotten, is somebody who you suspect could become a midfielder in the long term.
