Italian giants Juventus are interested in a deal to sign Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud in the January transfer window.
According to La Stampa, via The BBC, Maurizio Sarri is eager to be reunited with Giroud at Juventus, having managed him at Stamford Bridge last season.
The report claims that he is also showing a tentative interest in Emerson, although they are mainly keen on Giroud.

Giroud is nowhere near the Chelsea team at the moment, which means that he is currently an expendable member of the squad. If Juventus want to sign him and are willing to offer a decent fee in the January window, there appears to be very few reasons for Chelsea not to sell him.
Tammy Abraham and Michy Batshuayi are both ahead of him in the pecking order, which has left him sitting on the sidelines watching on. This means that he may be eager to move if Juventus are willing to offer him regular game time – or at least more game time than he is currently getting.
The French international will want to keep himself match fit heading into the European Championships for France next summer, which also may play into his thinking.
