David Amoyal, who works with Gianluca Di Marzio, has claimed that Massimiliano Allegri would prematurely end a sabbatical from management should the Manchester United job become available.
Questions continue to linger over Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as Man United sit ninth in the Premier League table after 13 games.
Allegri, on the other hand, has resolved to stay away from management until next summer following five years in charge of Juventus.
However, should the United job become available, Allegri would be interested in taking the United job, according to Amoyal.
As far as I know, Allegri’s plans have not changed- he intends to take rest of the season off. I think the one club he would make an exception for is Man United

Allegri would certainly not be the first-choice options for United fans, many of whom decided that Mauricio Pochettino was their man quite some time ago.
There is a tendency amongst us English to place Italian managers into the same bracket: irascible, conservative, deeply concerned with tactics, expressive on the touchline as his team maintains impeccable discipline on the pitch.
Allegri deserves to be seen as more than that. He is, for one thing, a remarkable speaker (albeit in Italian), as well as highly modern in his methods, invoking three at the back at Juventus as well as placing a strong emphasis on penetrating key areas of the pitch through breaking midfield lines.
Nonetheless, the 52-year-old seems like an outside chance to become the next United manager.
