Manchester United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have reportedly made signing the attacking positions a priority this January transfer window.
The legendary Norwegian seemingly hinted at the potential of not signing anyone at all this winter despite the obvious need for recruitment.
Solskjaer stated his belief that no one club wants to sell or do business at such a time in the season and it’s more likely any moves that are done will be temporary ones or loan moves in other words.
Fans were obviously displeased to hear such comments given the lack of signings in the summer in the first place and the need to invest now to ensure a top four spot is achieved.
After all, United only brought in three players in the summer despite letting go many players and not necessarily replacing any.
According to the Telegraph, despite previous press conferences, Solskjaer actually will be involved in the winter transfer window as he focusing on bringing in attacking options with the club confident Erling Haaland wants to join them.
As exciting as such a transfer would be, it does make one wonder where the former Molde manager will fit all his attacking stars as it seems unthinkable to drop any of Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashoford or Daniel James.
