Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Dylan Levitt, Ethan Laird, Di’Shon Bernard and Lee Grant will all start for Manchester United against Astana.
The Norwegian has brought a squad comprising of 14 teenagers to Kazakhstan as he looks to rest a series of key players amid a growing injury list.
It was already expected that players such as Tahith Chong, Angel Gomes and Mason Greenwood would play, with all three receiving starts against Astana at Old Trafford earlier in the season.
But Solskjaer has gone a step further and will hand out four debuts – three of them to academy graduates – on Thursday night.

What a moment for these players. United supporters are used to seeing academy graduates move into playing for the first team, as if it were as natural as watching a butterfly leave its chrysalis, but to the people involved it is not like that at all.
For the likes of Levitt, Laird and Bernard, reaching this stage meant making innumerable sacrifices from the age of about 7. Since then, every training session and game and injury builds up to the moment on Thursday when they can call themselves senior United players.
Regardless of what happens next, that is something to be proud of.
