Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz has opted not to reveal too much in regards to his future despite interest surrounding him heating up.
Reports have circulated stating Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Liverpool are all keen on the sensational youngster with a race to get his signature sure to happen this summer.
The German giants and Jurgen Klopp’s side will be keen on bolstering their squad depth but it’s arguably Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who needs Havertz the most.
United’s lack of playmaking and overall poor attacking has shown this season, particularly in the absence of Paul Pogba.
At Old Trafford, the German midfielder would arguably gain the most minutes in comparison to the aforementioned teams.
According to Manchester Evening News, Havertz said: “I listen to many people but in the end it will be my decision. I will embrace any advice Low will give me because he has a lot experience – it wouldn’t be smart to not listen to him.”
Not only will getting Bayer Leverkusen to sell be difficult but it appears convincing Havertz will be as well.
Joachim Löw has advised his international player to not make a move yet as getting regular minutes is crucial for a young player before a big move.
It’s certainly solid advice but if Manchester United offer him plenty of match-time then there’s little reason to not seal a move.
Havertz suits Solskjaer’s transfer policy of signing young prospects so there’s no real reason to not go after him.
