Manchester United are reportedly still convinced they can secure the futures of Leicester City’s Harry Maguire and Newcastle United’s Sean Longstaff.
The two Englishman have been Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s targets all summer but no luck has been struck with either one of them.
Fans have become increasingly frustrated by the board’s incompetence with just two players arriving at Old Trafford this transfer window.
This summer was meant to be one where a rebuilding would begin and it is arguably the most important one since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement.
United risk floating off into the abyss and becoming a sleeping giant similar to AC Milan if they don’t get their transfer window sorted out.
Manchester United just aren't going to sign Bruno Fernandes or Sergej Milinkovic-Savic if Paul Pogba stays at the club. Don't expect any movement in either direction. Maguire/Longstaf still very possible though. #mufc

It’s fair to say both Maguire and Longstaff have splits fans’ opinions for various and different reasons.
The Leicester star is an expensive purchase with some feeling there are better options out there for the fee they will end up spending.
Others feel Harry will add quality currently missing from the squad’s currently leaky backline.
Meanwhile, Sean’s inexperience and lack of a high profile name has left some fans upset over an absence of a real investment in midfield.
Others feel the young Englishman can replace Nemanja Matic over time and should he realise his potential, United would have a gem on their hands.
