New Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has been addressing the media for the first time following his appointment at Stamford Bridge.

The deal was announced on Monday morning, with a press conference scheduled for later in the afternoon.

For supporters, it was the first chance to see their former star holding up the shirt officially as the club’s manager.

The new Blues boss was questioned on multiple topics, ranging from the academy, Derby County and the club’s transfer ban and it is fair he reacted well throughout.

While it’s very early in his managerial career, there are certainly a few things we can take from the first press conference.
