Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Inter Milan have offered Manchester United a financial package worth €70m to bring Romelu Lukaku to the San Siro this summer.
Lukaku is determined to work under Antonio Conte, who attempted to sign the Belgian at Chelsea in 2017, after feeling left out by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last season.
Inter want the deal to include a clause whereby they pay only €10m this summer for a loan deal with an obligation to buy, with the next €60m being paid in two installments in 2020 and 2021.
#Inter first bid to Man United for Romelu Lukaku will be: €10M for the loan + €30M June 2020, €30€M June 2021. Obligation to buy – so it's total €70M. #MUFC #ManUnited #transfers

Romano, a very reliable source, confirmed that talks between Man United and Inter were underway on Wednesday. They have continued in London today as Inter look to flesh out a deal for the forward, who is among Conte’s top targets this summer.
The Belgian certainly seems ready for a new challenge after a torrid season at Old Trafford during which he picked up heavy criticism from United supporters for missing chances at key moments in certain games.
Reports suggest that Solskjaer has told the club to pursue Sevilla striker Wassim Ben Yedder, who claimed a brace against United in the Champions League last year and has consistently scored goals in La Liga for a number of years.
