Manchester United star Romelu Lukaku will inevitably depart for a move to Inter Milan according to Sky Sports reporter James Cooper.
The lethal Belgian has been linked with a move to the Serie A giants all summer and it appears a transfer will happen after all.
Inter have so far attempted unsuccessfully in securing his signature after putting in poor bids according to reports.
However, it seems they’re finally ready to meet United’s evaluation of Lukaku, bringing an end to one of the summer’s most drawn out transfer sagas.
The powerful striker hasn’t featured for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer so far in pre-season despite being present for both matches, although he was not available due to not being ‘ready’.
James Cooper on Lukaku: "They [#mufc] know Antonio Conte is desperate to have him, so that gives you a lot of strength in the negotiating – I think it's inevitable [joining Inter Milan]." #mulive [united stand yt]

The question does remain however, how will Inter fund the move for Romelu after it was previously stated that they don’t really have any money.
Perhaps offloading players will be key but that probably largely relies on Mauro Icardi departing and so far, no real offers have been made for him.
Lukaku’s goals will be sorely missed at Old Trafford and it could be argued fans haven’t appreciated him as much as he deserved to be despite whatever faults he had.
