Unai Emery has reportedly asked the Arsenal board to go all out in their pursuit for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha (via The Sun).
There are clear weaknesses in this Arsenal squad and the right wing position is undoubtedly one of them.
The Gunners have been lacking a direct and pacy right midfielder for some time with little variety in their attacking players.
Wilfried Zaha is a player who would certainly change that and Unai Emery has reportedly told the Arsenal board to go all out in their pursuit of him.
The 26-year-old Ivory Coast international is coming off the back of probably his best season after scoring 10 goals in 34 Premier League matches.
He is reportedly keen on a move to a Premier League rival this summer but Palace are said to be holding out for £55 million for their star man.
It’s a very interesting story. Wilfried Zaha is a wonderful player who seems to have improved a lot in recent years. He’s an exciting footballer who has added goals and assists to his game. However, it would be an expensive deal which Arsenal may be unable to complete.
