Purpose of processing
We use the information you give us to send you marketing emails that might be interesting to you.

Your data are shared with and transferred to the Oracle Corporation, which is the provider of the Eloqua marketing automation tool that we use to facilitate email marketing activities. The Oracle Corporation is certificated under the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield, which guarantees that adequate data protection standards are in place when your data are transferred.

Since we are an EU-based company, the processing of your data falls under the scope of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation - ‘GDPR’). Under the GDPR you are entitled to:

Arsenal target Alexis Claude Maurice has revealed that he wants to join the German side Borussia Monchengladbach (via The Metro).
Thanks to their enormous financial resources, it’s rare for Premier League sides to miss out on potential targets to rival leagues.
Even lesser sides can usually attract star signings so it is a surprise to see that an Arsenal target favours a move to Germany.
The player in question is Alexis Claude Maurice, the forward who was reportedly the subject of a bid from the Gunners earlier in the month.
Claude Maurice was the top scorer for Lorient in Ligue 2 last season and is said to be a major target for the Gunners but their hopes have taken a hit.
“I want to join [Borussia] Monchengladbach,” Claude Maurice said in an interview with l’Equipe.
“They are a club that focus on young players, there is a good structure, they are playing in the Europa League. I like their project & it suits me.”
There is however a suggestion that Lorient would prefer to sell the player to the Premier League in order to make more money.
It’s a surprising series of quotes from Alexis Claude Maurice. Many expected him to join the Gunners following the success of his former teammate, Matteo Guendouzi. The midfielder made 47 competitive appearances for Arsenal last season so it’s fair to say that the opportunities are there for young players at the club.
