Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly has a plan in motion to offload all of the deadwood in the current crop of players.
Most fans feel the squad are pretty average barring a few top quality players such as David de Gea and Paul Pogba.
United’s sixth placed finish in the Premier League is evidence that they’re behind the rest of their rivals and have quite a bit of work to do to catch up.
Solskjaer has insisted he wants to bring the club back up to its high standards gradually rather than the overhaul some supporters were hoping for.
However, it seems that the Norwegian has a slightly quicker plan in mind than initially anticipated.
According to Manchester Evening News, Ole is planning to conclude the process of offloading all of the Red Devils’ deadwood by next summer as part of his project to return the side to the top of English football.
The club legend has already planned ahead and has told executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward who he would like to move on before the start of the 2020-21 season.
Two summer transfer windows should be enough time to shape the starting XI in Solskjaer’s image with a third one enough to shape the whole squad.
