The Argentine forward has struggled to make an impact at Stamford Bridge since arriving in January and it has already been suggested that he wants to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo again.
Maurizio Sarri brought in the Argentine to be the goal-scorer Chelsea needed but instead, Higuain struggled to find his feet in the Premier League as the striker only netted five league goals for the Blues.
However, the Italian manager’s position at Chelsea is still under threat despite finishing third in the league and reaching two cup finals.
According to Tuttosport, as cited on the Mail Online, the striker wants to be reunited with former Real Madrid team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo and he hopes Sarri joins them in Turin.
Higuain and Ronaldo were strike partners for Spanish side Real Madrid before the 31-year-old switched to Serie A.
The former Napoli star will return to Juventus after the Europa League final next week but it’s unclear to see if Sarri will reunite with the Argentine once more as the Old Lady search for a new manager.
