Manchester United have reportedly made a formal offer for Mallorca attacking midfielder Toni Quetglas.
According to Spanish media outlet AS, relayed in an article by talkSPORT, the Red Devils, along with Ajax, have both made an offer for the highly-rated 16-year-old.
Quetglas, who was previously on the books of Barcelona, currently plies his trade in Mallorca’s youth sides and has caught the eye of numerous clubs across Europe, including Chelsea.
The creative midfielder is without a professional contract, so a possible deal for either the Red Devils of the Blues could prove to be extremely cheap.
Chelsea’s interest regarding the teenager is thought to be pending while the club waits to see if they have their two-window transfer ban frozen over the summer.
If the Blues don’t get the green light to bring in any fresh faces over the summer, boss Maurizio Sarri may be forced to hand first-team opportunities to numerous youngsters who have impressed out on loan this season.
