Some Manchester United fans may be finally getting what they’ve been wishing for after reports emerged of Romelu Lukaku agreement with Inter Milan.
The Belgian himself has admitted to a desire to play in the Serie A and it’s no surprise to see his comments have sparked links with those in Italy.
The striker has had a mixed time since joining United two seasons ago despite maintaining an impressive goalscoring record.
Some supporters feel Lukaku’s first-touch and build-up play are simply not up to scratch, meaning he’s not good enough to lead the line.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has largely opted to play Marcus Rashford as his main striker so it’s no surprise that the former Chelsea man is considering a move.
According to Sport Witness, Gazzetta dello Sport report that Inter have already agreed with Romelu over his wages but are struggling to convince the Red Devils to sell for less than their €70m asking price.
It’s stated that the Italian giant have actually had an agreement for quite some time but attempted to overcome their financial issues by offering Ivan Perisic in return.
However, there’s the belief that Solskjaer has no interest in the Croatian despite Jose Mourinho reportedly being so keen on signing him before.
