Tiemoue Bakayoko’s move to AC Milan this summer has been thrown into doubt after he was an hour late to training.
According to Calcio Mercato, Bakayoko angered manager Gennaro Gattuso as he failed to arrive to training on time this week.
The report claims that it sent Gattuso into a “rampage” and that it has hindered the possibility of Bakayoko joining the Italian giants on a permanent deal.
Bakayoko is currently on loan to Milan in the Serie A from Chelsea and there is an option in the contract to make it permanent this summer.
Calcio Mercato reveal, however, that the club will only exercise the option if they secure Champions League football for next season.
Milan are three points off the top four with two games to play, with Roma and Atalanta both ahead of them in the race for qualification.
Bakayoko has impressed on the pitch for Milan this season, with a string of strong performances in midfield.
