Chelsea will allow Maurizio Sarri to become the next permanent Juventus manager if the Serie A giants pay the Blues £5million in compensation.
The Italian has been targeted by Juve as a potential successor to Max Allegri and according to The Telegraph, Chelsea will allow Sarri to move on if the Serie A champions agree to the compensation fee.
Allegri enjoyed five fruitful years in charge of the Old Lady, winning the league in all five of his season’s at the helm in Turin, though Sarri’s Napoli side pushed Juve close last season.
Sarri’s first season in charge of Chelsea has divided opinion to say the least, but the Italian guided the Blues to a third place finish in the Premier League as well as a Carabao Cup and Europa League final.
Roma have also been linked with Sarri in recent weeks, though the report suggests Chelsea will wait until after the Europa League final against Arsenal to make an announcement on the Italian’s future.
