Kurt Zouma is part of Chelsea’s plans for pre-season following an impressive campaign on loan with Everton, though both the Toffees and Arsenal are said to be keen on a permanent move for the defender.
The Blues, however, are said to be keen on keeping the defender at the club given their current lack of options at centre-back, with Gary Cahill set to leave the club this summer and Antonio Rudiger injured.
And according to 90min via the Liverpool Echo, Zouma is part of Maurizio Sarri’s plans for pre-season and the Frenchman could be back in a Chelsea shirt in July, when the Blues face J.League champions Kawasaki Frontale Japan.
The 24-year-old has been one of Marco Silva’s key men this season, and the Toffees boss is understandably keen on a permanent deal for the defender, though a move is likely to depend on whether the Blues’ two-window transfer ban is lifted for this summer.
Zouma established himself as a regular starter for Chelsea prior to sustaining an a knee injury which ruled him out for eight months and ultimately led to him losing his place in the side.
