Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided an injury update ahead of the clash against Wolves, relieving fans of their concerns regarding certain players.
The Norwegian will be hoping a repeat of their lass performance at the Molineux won’t happen having been knocked out of the FA Cup there just before the recent international break.
United were second best against the hosts last time out and can’t afford to be second best again given the circumstances.
Solskjaer has done well to drag his side back into the race for a top four spot but anything other than three points against Wolves will prove costly.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are all fighting tooth and nail for the remaining two spots in the top four given how Manchester City and Liverpool are fighting for the title.
According to Manchester Evening News, Ole said: “Both [Anthony Martial and Romelu Lukaku] will be ready for tomorrow, definitely, unless they break down in training today!
“Victor has had a good few days of training now so he’ll be ready. Apart from that. Darmian and Bailly are still out. Valencia is still out and Sanchez is still out.”
Anthony Martial and Romelu Lukaku will be welcome returns given that Manchester United will need all their attacking talent to defeat a tough Wolves side.
Victor Lindelof was left out of the win against Watford due to receiving death threats for pulling out of the Sweden national team after his wife gave birth.
Matteo Darmian, Eric Bailly, Antonio Valencia and Alexis Sanchez will unfortunately not be missed given their inability to make an impact under Ole so far.
