Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed prior to the 2-1 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers that Marcus Rashford and Ander Herrera had injuries.
Rashford, who picked up an injury over the international break, played against Watford on the weekend but has sustained an ankle problem – a different issue to the one he had before. His replacement, Romelu Lukaku, had a poor game at the Molineux.
Herrera, currently heavily linked with Paris Saint Germain, also featured against Watford. The nature of his injury is unknown.
Ole: “Ander and Rashy weren’t fit for the game. Anthony got a knock as well. He will be able to come on if needed. Scott and Fred, fresh legs, energy in there. Hopefully we can benefit from that.” #mufc [MUTV]

United saying Rashford out with an ankle injury rather than illness. Herrera also injured and not in the squad.

Man United once again looked lethargic up against the counter-attacking efficiency of Wolves and, without Rashford, their lack of movement up front was the chief source of frustration. It almost felt like United under Mourinho, pushing full-backs high and bouncing it in to Lukaku with terrible results.
Solskjaer now has a full week to prepare for Barcelona. He will need the duo back and, more importantly, need his team to play with greater conviction.
