Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reacted to his second defeat to Wolves in a matter of weeks, claiming it wasn’t what his side deserved.
The Norwegian has recently been handed the permanent role having been initially hired as a caretaker manager after improving his side drastically.
Lately the results and performances have started to slip however and the 2-1 loss to Wolves was evidence of that.
Scott McTominay opened the scoring for United but Wolves soon equalised before pulling ahead after Ashley Young‘s sending off.
Solskjaer feels his side played well and could’ve had more goals to their name having started the fixture superbly.
Ole: “It’s one of those days we’ve done more than enough to score three or four goals. I thought we did well start of the second-half. Scotty did well, fantastic save from the keeper again. we’ve done enough to win this game. You don’t always get what you deserve.” #mufc [Sky]

Fans were understandably frustrated with their side’s lack of clinical edge and to make matters worse, they were error prone at the back as well.
Not long before Jose Mourinho was fired he had insisted his players often shot themselves in the foot defensively and it’s tough to argue with that statement after this loss.
Ole will be hoping the mistakes won’t be repeated and that his side can bounce back as they face the daunting task of taking on Barcelona.
The race for a top four spot isn’t over but the defeat to Wolves was certainly a heavy blow.
