Manchester United star Alexis Sanchez may finally get an opportunity to depart Old Trafford though there is a stumbling block.
The Chilean has looked a shadow of the world-class player he was at Arsenal and so he’s struggled to make an impact since signing.
Fans were initially patient, believing the winger simply needs time to adjust to his new surroundings.
However, with enough time passing, supporters have now completely lost their patience with Sanchez.
Under Jose Mourinho the former Barcelona man’s form could be understood but he is essentially the only player to not improve under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s management.
According to the Independent, Inter will only consider signing Alexis if he lowers his wage demands with no other clubs offering him an escape from the Red Devils.
The 30 year old’s wages has always been an issue so it’s no surprise to see the Italian’s will only chase his signature if he lowers his demands.
No one can truly afford him with even Manchester United struggling internally due the rift his wages has caused amongst the players.
The likes of Paul Pogba and David de Gea are believed to be looking for pay raises due to the numbers Sanchez earns so moving him on may be wise.
