Manchester United have reportedly targeted five European-based stars as they gear up for a complete summer overhaul.
With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer winning a long-term contract after his fantastic turnaround, the club are prepared to support him in the transfer market.
The Norwegian is known for his high-tempo, attacking football but some of the United stars don’t quite suite that style.
David Moyes, Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho all made signings who are still at the club which means Solskjaer has some deck-shuffling to do so to speak.
The former Molde man certainly has players in mind to sell and buy and it’s believed he wants it all done before the club’s pre-season tour beginnings.
According to The Telegraph, the Red Devils have targeted Jadon Sancho, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Raphael Varane, Kalidou Koulibaly and Declan Rice in a summer overhaul that could see Antonio Valencia, Juan Mata, Ander Herrera, Matteo Darmian, Marcos Rojo, Eric Bailly and Alexis Sanchez depart.
The Ecuadorian and the two Spaniards’ contracts all run out this summer while the Italian and Argentine are considered dispensable.
Manchester United are also said to be open to receive offers for Sanchez and Bailly but aren’t outright chasing them out of the club.
