Ander Herrera‘s move to Paris Saint Germain is a ‘done deal’, according to French media outlet RMC Sport.
The Spaniard’s contract at Old Trafford runs out in June and negotiations over a new deal have failed to reach an agreement.
It is claimed that Herrera, in response to the wages handed to Alexis Sanchez last year, has demanded a package of around £200,000-a-week, which Manchester United have refused to pay.
And according to RMC, the news outlet which initially broke the Herrera story, the deal to move to Paris in the summer is done.

The Herrera saga paints a sad picture of the many unacknowledged errors made at the top level of this club. Man United’s decision to hand Sanchez £400,000-a-week, adding a gross amount of money to an already bulging wage bill, has dramatically stunted their clout in negotiations. David de Gea has not yet signed on the dotted line for the exact same reason.
Most saddening is the fact that Herrera was open to staying. United, however, stalled with negotiations and allowed for PSG to sneak in with an improved offer.
Once again, the club’s dysfunction at an organizational level – from the Glazers to what happens on the pitch – has produced an outcome which further diminishes the competitivity of this squad.
