Romelu Lukaku’s agent, Federico Pastorello, has confirmed the Belgian will discuss his future at Manchester United this summer, suggesting he could opt for a move to Spain or Italy.
The striker, currently second choice up front behind Marcus Rashford, has claimed 15 goals in 39 games across all competitions this season.
He has occasionally dazzled in front of goal – recently scoring six goals in three games – but supporters, this season, have grown frustrated over the more frequent sight of Lukaku squandering big chances and failing to take defenders on from the No.9 position.
According to his agent, speaking to Sky Sports earlier today, Lukaku will hold talks with United over his future once the season ends.

The striker is keen to play for either Real Madrid or Barcelona, two teams way above his level in terms of the technical ability No.9s require at the top level in Spain. Karim Benzema and Luis Suarez are the benchmark there. Lukaku is a player with very different qualities.
His preference for Serie A, a division he has long admired, seems more viable. You get the feeling he would score for fun at a club like Inter or Roma against lesser clubs in Italy.
With all that said, there is very little chance, you suspect, of Lukaku going anywhere this summer.
