Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has promised fans that they will see more of James Garner.
The academy graduate came off the bench to make his official debut during the club’s 3-1 win over Crystal Palace.
Garner was only on the field for a few minutes but supporters are excited to see their academy players make the step up.
The youngster has been likened to former United favourite Michael Carrick who’s now amongst the coaching staff.
James will have plenty of competition for a first-team spot in midfield but over time there’s little doubt he can make the step up.
Solskjaer: "Jimmy Garner is in the mould of a top, top central midfielder so he will come good. We will see him soon." #MUFC

Paul Pogba, Fred, Scott McTominay, Ander Herrera, Nemanja Matic and Andreas Pereira are the current senior options for the engine room meaning Garner has his work cut out for him.
However, time is on his side for him to work his way up the ranks given his young age and how highly his manager already rates him.
Perhaps James could make the defensive midfield his position since an alternative to Matic is needed.
McTominay has featured there recently but given the Serbian’s closer towards the end of his career than the beginning, the Englishman has a chance to eventually succeed him.
