Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has praised his players’ collective attitude vs Leicester in their narrow 1-0 win on Sunday.
The Norwegian watched on as his stars made the match maybe a little more difficult than it needed to be but they ran away with all three points nonetheless.
Marcus Rashford was the man with the match-winning goal as United continue to chase a place in the top four.
Solskjaer had previously criticised his players’ poor start against Burnley last week which saw them trailing 2-0 though they eventually managing to come away with a point.
Even members of the first-team admitted they believed they could win the match playing at less than 100% and eventually it costed them.
Ole: “Leicester got in a few dangerous positions, David de Gea made a few great saves and blocks. We could have done better higher up the pitch in terms of defending but we deserved the three points I thought.” #mufc [BBC]

Ole: “That pass by Paul Pogba is great and the control by Marcus better. Football is a game of mistakes. Our lads, when we make mistakes, they were fighting for the ball and giving their all." #mufc [BBC]

Ole: “Attitude was spot on. Couple of bruised noses and knees. It is supposed to be like this. There are three points on the line. Our lads sacrificed everything they had. They know they can do better than this but a clean sheet is always a foundation to build on." #mufc [BBC]

Luckily against Leicester there didn’t seem to be such a problem and Manchester United’s quick start saw them get all three points in the end.
Ole would do well to keep an eye out on his players’ fitness however as they seemed to tire easily which resulted in sloppy play and if the opposition were a little more clinical, he could’ve been looked at a different result.
United could be leggy due to a lack of real rotation or it could just be that the former Molde boss has them working extra hard in training.
