Maurizio Sarri reportedly singled out Eden Hazard during his post mortem of the defeat against Bournemouth.
The Telegraph report that the Belgian faced the brunt of Sarri’s criticism, with the Italian head coach locking himself and the players inside the changing rooms for an hour after the game.
It was reported that the players and Sarri held talks after the game, with the former Napoli boss frustrated with the team’s understanding of his demands.
Among that, it is claimed that Sarri was particularly unimpressed with Hazard, who he believed was not following his tactical instructions.
Following the arrival of Gonzalo Higuain, the Belgian has returned to his more natural position out on the left, but in the eyes of Sarri, he is still not doing enough.
Serious questions are now being raised about the pair’s relationship, with Sarri previously telling the player he needed to be more of a leader, while openly admitted he should leave if he wants to join Real Madrid.
