Chelsea face a make-or-break run of crucial games admits defender Cesar Azpilicueta, reports the Mail Online.
After a very disappointing FA Cup exit at home to Manchester United yesterday, Azpilicueta wants to bring happiness back to the Chelsea supporters in the coming weeks.
There was obvious unrest in the crowd during Monday’s 2-0 defeat with chants aimed towards manager Maurizio Sarri.

When Azpilicueta himself was substituted for Davide Zappacosta in the 82nd minute, boos were echoing around the stadium for the lack of change in approach.
It doesn’t get much easier for the Blues with the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City on Sunday followed by a midweek clash at home to Spurs.
Before either of those, Chelsea entertain Malmo for a place in the Europa League last 16 and the 29-year-old Spaniard is aware of the importance of these crunch games in the next week.
Azpilicueta discussed the upcoming run of games with Chelsea TV.
Hopefully we can have a good nine days. It’s the whole season. Now in three days we will be back at the Bridge against Malmo, to finish the job we started last Thursday, to get through to the next round.
Then we have two massive games. We know that a trophy in the middle is everything, to bring the fans back to Wembley with the spirit to get the cup.
These next three games could also be decisive in whether Sarri will still be at the club in the coming weeks as multiple defeats could prove disastrous.
It can’t get much worse for Sarri’s side since the turn of the year with the Blues having lost their last three league away games 2-0, 4-0 and 6-0.
This has seen Chelsea drop to sixth in the Premier League with this weekend’s League Cup final potentially being their only chance of silverware this year.
However, the last time they met Manchester City was that 6-0 drubbing at the Etihad and it seems difficult to see how Chelsea can beat them this time.
Last night’s defeat wouldn’t have given Chelsea fans optimism heading to Wembley.
Azpilicueta chose to point out the lack of incision in the final third after the match, something which has been a problem for much of the season.
It has been a tough night. We didn’t put Manchester (United) in difficulties even at 2-0 down. We were not very good in the final metres, so we paid (for) that. And at the end we couldn’t score.
