Unai Emery has responded to the growing reports that Aaron Ramsey is set for a transfer to Serie A side Juventus (via Arsenal.com).
It’s a transfer story that few expected but it seems as if it could soon become a reality with reports that Aaron Ramsey is heading to Serie A.
A number of reliable publications have claimed that the Welshman is set to sign a pre-contract agreement with Juventus to join the side in the summer.
Now, Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has been asked whether he knows if there is any truth in these reports.
“I don’t know,” he admitted.
“I want his focus every day with us on training and thinking for the next match, which is against Blackpool. I am looking at him and he’s very concentrated with us now.
“On Tuesday, he scored when he played 15 minutes, and he gave a good performance. I want that from him, and also he needs to [look] at his future. But I want him in the present with us.
“At the end of the season is the moment he can go to one team or another team.”
It’s going to be strange to see Aaron Ramsey out of an Arsenal shirt and it looks as if Juventus will be his next destination.
