Manchester United star Marcus Rashford may not have been the man to grab the headlines after the win over Fulham but perhaps he should have.
The 4-1 victory was welcome relief and saw many players perform admirably which is why the Englishman’s performance went a little under the radar.
The striker was on the scoresheet alongside Romelu Lukaku, Ashley Young and Juan Mata in a much needed win.
Rashford though put in a much better shift than some seem to care and the statistics prove not only was he on fire against Fulham but he has been in good form of late.
Jose Mourinho has called on some of his players to step up and it’s clear to see the academy product is responding.

Marcus had six shots during the win and at times it felt as though it just wasn’t his day but he finally caught out the opposition goalkeeper with a powerful effort.
One could argue Mourinho would be more pleased with the two assists since he’s so big on team play and playing for the club.
With Anthony Martial also in fine form this season, the Portuguese manager can finally consider building his side around these two talented youngsters.
