Manchester United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can make it two wins in two when his side face off against Huddersfield by playing the players want to see.
Against Cardiff City, the Norwegian didn’t necessarily spring any surprises with the starting XI he picked and instead it was the football on show that helped grab all three points.
It was understandable given how Solskjaer only had a couple of days before to bed in with his new squad but now supporters will be looking for more.
A 4-3-3 formation is probably the way go to in most games other than when United are struggling to break teams down in which a 4-2-3-1 can be employed.
Nonetheless there were a few positions Ole could consider switching players in and what better time than against opposition that should be easily beaten?
Ashley Young played ok against Cardiff but did struggle defensively at times and that’s where Diogo Dalot could come in.
In more important games the Englishman’s experience can be used but otherwise the youngster needs games to settle in and make the position his own.
Phil Jones wasn’t bad either but fans want to see Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly form a partnership and considering how they’re both fit at the same time for once, it should be taken advantage of.
Nemanja Matic and Ander Herrera were also solid but Andreas Pereira and Fred have been in desperate need for real minutes and should be allowed to showcase their talents in more attacking tactics.
The former Shakhtar man has slowly started to show signs that he’s adapting while the Serbian could do with a rest to be fresher for more important matches.
The Red Devils have a congested fixture list and Solskjaer did mention that he will rotate to give everyone a chance to prove their worth.
More difficult matches are on the horizon when he’d arguably need a solid starting XI to rely on so the time to experiment is now.
