Manchester United star Ander Herrera proved to Jose Mourinho that he embodies the ‘mad dog’ spirit during the clash against Arsenal.
The Gunners held the Portuguese manager’s side to a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford but the Spaniard put in an impressive shift nonetheless.
Mourinho had previously praised Herrera by claiming he gives the team a balance that no other player gives, insisting he improves those around him.
The statistics certainly seem to suggest that as well and with the midfielder’s contract running out this summer the former Chelsea boss must be sweating over it.
United may want to tie him down as soon as possible after his performance against Arsenal so he can continue to prove his worth.

Ander’s best quality is tough to nail down as he’s more of an all rounder than anything else.
As the stats show, the former Atletico Bilbao man is as comfortable with creating chances as he is with putting his foot in for a challenge.
His passing accuracy isn’t shabby at all either and although he may not be your typical playmaker, he’s still got a pass on him.
Perhaps this is why Jose loves him since he does the job of two midfielders in one.
