Manchester United fans were certainly pleased with Diogo Dalot’s performance vs Fulham in his second Premier League start of the season.
The youngster arrived during the summer as one of three signings made by Jose Mourinho though his move was definitely more low-key.
The full-back hasn’t come to Old Trafford with a huge reputation but there is plenty to suggest that his potential is limitless.
Some supporters were concerned after his display against Arsenal as they felt it was a mixed one though the large majority felt he’d done well all things concerned.
However, against Fulham Dalot was far more impressive and gave fans more to be excited about with many hoping he gets a run in the side from now on.
Antonio Valencia has shown serious signs of decline this campaign and so if the Portuguese can settle in quickly then he’s arrived right on time.
Diogo Dalot has been superb in the opening 27 minutes. Constant threat down the right. #mufc

I actually can't remember the last time Man United had a right back that crossed as good as Diogo Dalot (Valencia does NOT count, his crossing has been horrible ever since he moved to right back). Might seriously have to go all the way back to Gary Neville.

Dalot gives us so much width on the right to be able to spread Fulham’s defense, now imagine a pacy RW..

Dalot is far from the finished product. But it’s nice to have a full back who acts like a full back.

Super impressed by Dalot. Keeping it simple. Put in some good crosses and defensively haven't put a foot wrong. #mufc

Solid defensively, eager to get forward and a good crosser, the former Porto man has what it takes to become a top modern full-back.
Mourinho is also clearly a fan of Diogo, claiming he can be United’s right-back for the next ten years though some fans have heard that before with one Luke Shaw.
