Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has left fans baffled with his latest post match comments after hinting he can’t get more out of the current crop of players.
The January transfer window looms large now but after reports claimed the club aren’t willing to spend, it seems the manager is saying he’s done everything he can do.
Some supporters believed the interview was a sign that Mourinho is admitting he’s lost the dressing room and it isn’t a case of the players not having more ability but that they don’t want to give him any more than they already have.
The Portuguese boss’ comments came after United’s 2-2 draw against Arsenal at home, pinning back the opposition both times after conceding silly goals.
David de Gea made an unfortunate error that allowed the Gunners the opening goal while Marcos Rojo‘s last ditch tackle resulted in an own goal that gave them the lead.

Other sections of supporters believe Jose is yet again deflecting so that the media don’t focus on the fact that the Red Devils have dropped points at a time they really can’t afford to.
Manchester United are currently 18 points away from top spot while being eight points away from a top four spot.
