AC Milan boss Gennaro Gattuso does not expect to lose Gonzalo Higuain to Chelsea in the January transfer window.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Gattuso was quizzed on the possibility of the Blues swooping for the Argentinian striker in the January window.
The Milan boss explained why Chelsea are unlikely to sign the striker, citing their well-documented transfer policy when it comes to signing older players.
I hold on to Higuain. No disrespect to your [the journalists] work but as far as I know Chelsea haven’t bought any over-30 players in the last few years.

Chelsea are once again being linked with moves to sign Higuain after turning down the chance to bring in the striker over the summer.
Maurizio Sarri is a known admirer and remains keen to do a deal, but Chelsea are unlikely to shell out huge sums of money for a striker who will turn 32 next year.
While there have been some exceptions in recent years, Chelsea look to avoid signing older players in a bid to protect themselves from inflated market values and huge wages.
