Chelsea’s Andreas Christensen is set to miss the Christmas fixtures due to a small injury, according to Blues boss Maurizio Sarri.
The Danish defender has not managed to hold down a consistent first-team spot so far this season, but will still miss out during the Festive period.

The Blues will have a tough run of 4 games within the next two weeks, with Sarri potentially needing some rotation to avoid fatigue over the busy period.

However, they will have to make do without Christensen, with Sarri confirming the news in his press conference ahead of the clash with Leicester on Saturday.
The injury is only a minor one, so Christensen could return for the FA Cup clash with Nottingham Forest.
The Blues face Leicester on Saturday, before a trip to Watford on Boxing Day.
