Arsenal given chance to sign Chelsea target for £14m

Barcelona have offered Arsenal the chance to sign Chelsea transfer target Denis Suarez for £14m in the January transfer window.

According to The BBC, Barcelona have told Arsenal that they can have Suarez if they match their £14m valuation of the midfielder.

Reports earlier this week claimed that Suarez is keen to move to London, with Arsenal and Chelsea being his preferred choices.

A number of clubs are thought to be interested in signing him, but Suarez is set on a transfer to the Premier League.

Chelsea are looking to add to their squad in the next window and have targetted Suarez as a potential signing.

The 24-year-old could, however, now be set for a move to The Emirates if Arsenal take Barcelona up on their offer.

Valencia and Milan are also said to be interested in Suarez, although he would use them as a last resort.
