United in trouble over completion and deal of major midfield signing: report

Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola ‘violated UK and FIFA regulations’ in the deal to bring his client back to Manchester United in 2016.

The Frenchman, who left Man United for Juventus in 2012, moved back to Old Trafford for a then £89m world record transfer fee.

Raiola has also negotiated deals for clients Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romelu Lukaku to join United.

According to Media Report, the way Raiola went about Pogba’s move was unscrupulous to say the least. The agent, known for taking big shares of transfer fees, reportedly acquired a €22m commission from United in an unlawful manner as he did not declare a conflict of interest.

Raiola, somehow, managed to sign off the deal on paper without legally notifying the fact that he expressly benefits from this deal in a personal as well as professional way.

Just like how the recent De Spiegel reports show Manchester City to be a club whose glittering success has been underpinned by dirty money and dirty tactics for using that money, this report shows Raiola to be a money grabbing ‘s***ebag’, to borrow Sir Alex Ferguson’s description of the agent.
