PSG are reportedly set to steal David de Gea from Manchester United’s clutches as early as next summer.
The Spaniard was previously linked with a move to Real Madrid but since Thibaut Courtouis’ move the past summer, that rumour has died down.
However, United and their fans will have fresh concerns that the Ligue 1 giant is keen on their star player.
Supporters have become increasingly worried that De Gea will choose to leave the club in pursuit of glory elsewhere given his world class talent.
The Red Devils have somehow allowed the goalkeeper’s contract to run down to ending in the next summer and PSG are keen on capitalising on the situation.
According to the Daily Post, the Mail on Sunday report that David will depart for PSG once his contract expires and will earn £300k a week with the French champions.
It’s been said his contract has an extension clause but that will only save Manchester United temporarily.
PSG are reportedly willing to sell Neymar to Real Madrid in order to fund the move for De Gea and given how he’ll only have a year left should the clause be triggered, it’s unlikely he’ll cost much.
United have been in talks with the former Atletico Madrid star for months now with no end in sight so it’s no surprise to see him linked with a move elsewhere.
