It’s always a difficult ground for away teams and today was no exception for Arsenal at the Vitality Stadium.
AFC Bournemouth may have lost their last two matches before the international break but have been one of the best performing teams this season.
That was on display in the first half but it was the Gunners who took the lead courtesy of an extraordinary own goal from Bournemouth’s Jefferson Lerma.
The home side got back in the game with the last kick of the first half when Josh King polished off a flowing move with a fine strike into the top corner.
Arsenal dominated after the break and got their reward when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang got on the end of a Sead Kolasinac cross to make it 2-1.
The home side pushed hard in the final 25 minutes but Arsenal held out to secure the victory.
Here are the highlights from a hugely entertaining football match (will open in a separate tab).
