Manchester United dealt a huge injury blow ahead of Chelsea clash

Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic is being considered as a doubt to face his former side Chelsea after the international break.

Sky Sports News report that the Serbian could miss the game at Stamford Bridge through injury.

The former Chelsea midfielder has been a key figure for Jose Mourinho since making the move to Manchester.

The two sides meet in London in under two weeks time following the second international break of the season.

Matic’s injury is the latest blow for Manchester United, who have endured a difficult start to the campaign, with concerns over Mourinho’s position at the club.

Manchester United head into the game off the back of a dramatic late victory against Newcastle on Saturday night.

Mourinho’s men came from behind to win 3-2, while Chelsea cruised past Southampton with a 3-0 victory that took them to the top of the Premier League, level on points with both Liverpool and Manchester City.
