Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has revealed that he believes Eden Hazard will not force a move away from the club, despite the Belgian admitting that it is his dream to play for Real Madrid, according to a report on the Belfast Telegraph.
The Spanish striker believes there’s nothing blocking Hazard from moving but he is adamant that he will not push for a move away from Stamford Bridge this season.
Hazard is one of the most in-form players in world football at the moment and currently tops the Premier League top scorer list with seven goals.
The Belgian was on target as Chelsea defeated Southampton last weekend and former Real Madrid striker Morata also found the net for the Blues in the 3-0 victory. Morata said:
We’ve said that it’s not that he wants to leave Chelsea but if Madrid come in for him, that won’t be an obstacle.
The thing is that he has a very good relationship with the club, he’s happy there and it’s not like other cases when a player wants to leave a club at any cost, but if it’s good for Chelsea they will keep that in mind.
Hazard is playing a key role for the London club under Maurizio Sarri and could be the man to lead their title challenge this season.
The playmaker is enjoying his football at the moment and is not likely to force a move away as goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois did during the summer.
