Diego Costa may have left Chelsea on bad terms with the club, but his tribute to the recently-retired John Terry shows he is still admired by those he played alongside.
Tributes have been pouring in for Terry after he announced his retirement from the game earlier this week.
Speaking on his official Instagram account, Costa recalls the fact that he could never understand what the former Chelsea man was saying to him during his time at Stamford Bridge.
Congrats on your fantastic and successful career. Thank you for all you’ve done for me during my years at @chelseafc (although I couldn’t understand a single word you said to me).

The Spanish striker spoke very little English while playing his football for the club and would refer to Terry as ‘El Capitano’, rather than trying to pronounce his name.
After announcing his retirement, Terry is being heavily linked with a move back to Aston Villa, possibly as a number two alongside a new manager, or as the main man himself.
