Arsenal reportedly fear they are about to lose their quest to keep Ivan Gazidis at the club amid interest from AC Milan (via ESPN).
This is a transfer story which could soon have a conclusion as AC Milan’s pursuit of Arsenal Chief Executive Ivan Gazidis heats up.
The Serie A side have been keen on making the Arsenal board member a part of their new hierarchy for some time.
The reports have been mixed in recent weeks but today, things seem to have escalated as far as Gazidis’ exit is concerned.
Multiple outlets have claimed that Gazidis is closing on his move to Milan with some claiming that he will be receiving a £1 million increase on his current £2.6m-a-year salary.
Other publications have claimed that Arsenal majority shareholder Stan Kroenke will look to his son, Josh as a potential replacement for Gazidis.
It’s an interesting story but one which, hopefully, will be resolved soon. Few Arsenal fans seem to worry much whether Ivan Gazidis stays or leaves the club and most just want this saga to be over.
