Sevilla are leading the race to sign Michy Batshuayi from Chelsea on loan, according to a report from Goal.
The Belgian international is a man in demand over in Spain, with reports indicating that all three of Sevilla, Atletico Madrid and Valencia are circling for his signature.
Batshuayi spent the second half of last season on loan with Borussia Dortmund and caught the eye, as he netted on several occasions for the Bundesliga outfit.
Following his return to Stamford Bridge, the ex-Marseille striker’s future appears to be under scrutiny. Maurizio Sarri is believed to be keen on keeping hold of the player, but a loan move away appears to now be a genuine possibility.
Foreign clubs, such as the likes of Sevilla, are able to pursue a deal for Batshuayi beyond Thursday evening when the Premier League’s transfer window closes, therefore they will have plenty of time to pursue a deal for the attacker.
Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud are both committed to the cause at Chelsea, and it remains to be seen whether or not Batshuayi will be afforded regular first-team opportunities with the Blues.
