Chelsea have completed the signing of Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao for a fee believed to be in the region of £72 million.
As confirmed on the club’s official website, Kepa pens a seven-year contract at the club after becoming the world’s most expensive goalkeeper.

Kepa joins the club to replace Thibaut Courtois, who is expected to join Real Madrid in the coming days after the club announced a deal with the Spanish side.
The latter has been heavily linked with a move back to Spain for some time and the deal to bring the young Spaniard to London will allow the Blues to sanction a deal for Courtois.

Kepa, 23, is highly rated back in Spain and he himself was heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid earlier this year.
Several goalkeepers, including Jordan Pickford, Jan Oblak, Jack Butland and Sergio Rico were linked with moves to Stamford Bridge, but Kepa is the man to fill the void that will be left by the Belgian.
