Manchester United target and Real Madrid star Gareth Bale has reportedly stated where he intends to go next.
The Welshman’s future has been thrown up into the air both by his own comments as well as Zinedine Zidane’s sudden departure from the Spanish capital.
The Frenchman insisted that the club needs a fresh start but some reports have claimed that Bale somehow played a part in it all.
Bale had said after the Champions League final that he wants to be playing football week in and week out, leaving other clubs an opportunity to sign him though he could’ve just been threatening Madrid.
Either way, it’s paved a path for United to attempt a move for the versatile attacker with Jose Mourinho said to be surprised a calibre of his status is available.
According to the Daily Post, the Mirror report that Gareth told Bayern that if he was going to leave Madrid it would be for a Premier League team.
The German champions are reported to be interested in the quality attacker but it seems he has no interested in leaving Spain unless it’s for an English club.
Tottenham have been linked with re-signing him of course but they don’t have the kind of cash necessary to fund such a move.
